Megan Baumgardner, Attorney at Law

I went to law school to earn a degree that would enable me to help people and serve. I was born and raised in Cabarrus County. When I graduated from Campbell Law School in 2009, there was no doubt that the community I would serve would be here, where I grew up. I spent a decade in the District Attorney’s Office protecting this community that I love so much. Now, I am very fortunate to work as a partner in Baucom, Lewis & Baumgardner. My hope is to continue to serve the citizens of this county by zealously and compassionately representing them in legal matters.

I know that when you seek the advice of an attorney, you rarely do so in good times. The legal system can be daunting and scary. The most stressful thing is not being familiar with the process, not knowing what to expect. My job as your attorney is to forecast for you what will happen and when, guide you through the process so that you can make the best decisions regarding your legal matter and calming your nerves by keeping you informed every step of the way. I will work hard for you and I promise to treat you like the individual you are. I believe the attorney client relationship should be one based on trust and mutual respect. Should you choose to hire me as your attorney, I will work diligently to advocate for what you find most important in your case. I want to lessen the burden you bear by listening to you, advising you as to what I think is best for your situation and answering the questions that you have.
